Here is a selection of questions we get a lot which will hopefully answer one of your questions instead of having to wait for a response from ourselves!
I need help with sizes. How do I know what size I am?
We have a helpful size guide here in our Tutu Info section. This will give you a general idea of what size fits a REG, PLUS or Plus EXTRA as well as covering international sizes too. By comparing this guide with your own size and waist measurements, you should get a good idea of which size will be better for you.
Feel free to simply add your dress size and we can also work with that.
Do your waistbands tie at the back?
No. Our waistbands are elasticated all the way around, no ties to be found. All of our tutus are hand sewn. We do not make the popular American style hand tied tutus. We find these fit people much better and obviously, stay together.
Can I add lights to my 6 months old tutu?
Your child's safety is our main priority. We do not add lights to tutus for children under the age of 9-10 years due to health and safety reasons. The lights are on a wire, which could prove dangerous if unraveled from the tutu and also, the battery packs require 3xAA batteries which are not only unsafe for babies but rather heavy.
We still advise all 9 Years and above children to be constantly supervised by an adult whilst wearing a light up tutu.
What is a bustle?
A bustle is like a tail/train on the back of your tutu and longer in length than the front. It's very burlesque! Great for hen nights!
Do you make custom tutus?
YES WE DO. We love working with your ideas. Simply get in touch with your ideas, any photos for inspiration as well as preferred tutu style, colours, size and length. The more information you include the quicker we will be able to get back to you with a quote.
Why are you only open for a few hours a week?
We're a small business run from home. We cut, sew and pack your tutu so it is hard to answer emails and calls at the same time, unfortunately. Laura comes in to do as much as she can in our opening times which is a great help to us. We do have a HUGE amount of information on our website to help you as much as we can out of hours.
If you do have a problem with waiting more than a few hours for a reply we would recommend purchasing from a larger company where the products have been made in China and you can't choose your style, size, length and colour but will have it sent out within the hour. We feel that our products are worth the wait.

Do you give group discounts?
We give a 10% Group Discount when you order 5 or more tutus in one transaction. We also offer discounts for dance school orders. Group discount is not available on items such as the Group Minnie Ears which have already been discounted.
We do not give discount for any order of under 5 tutus. You can either place your order and we can refund your discount or you can send over an email with your complete order (as much info as possible please!) and we will send over a PayPal invoice for you.
Customers abusing the Group Discount code by using it on LESS than 5 items will be invoiced for the difference and your order will not be processed until all funds are received.
Where are you based?
We are based in Nottinghamshire in England. Customers are welcome to collect their order instead of having it delivered if you live nearby. We live in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire near the J28 roundabout and the East Midlands Designer Outlet. Message us for details if you live nearby and would like to collect!
Do you have a store?
At the moment we are only an online store as we work from our home. But who knows what the future may hold for us?
Can I change/cancel my order?
Cancellations must be made in writing as soon as possible through the website, or via direct email to email@example.com, quoting your order details (date order was placed, name the order was placed under and name of tutu, etc). If your order has already been dispatched we will unfortunately be unable to cancel your order. Please take into account our opening times when getting in touch about your cancellation as we do not monitor emails out of our opening hours. Orders cancelled in this way are governed by Consumer Contracts Regulations (2014)
The same goes with changes to your order, please let us know as soon as possible so we don't waste time making up an order that you've changed.
Why do I need to pay a Rush Fee?
Our bespoke tutus are in high demand. Due to this most of our tutus have a 1-2 week processing time.
If you need your order with you ASAP then you can add the Rush Fee to make your order a priority to be dispatched as soon as possible.
The Rush Fee covers for ourselves working out of hours to complete your order or if we have to go out and purchase fabrics and such for your order instead of waiting for it to be delivered.
To avoid paying the Rush Fee we'd advise to order your item as soon as you can to avoid any disappointment and additional costs.
Do you ship worldwide?
We sure do! We ship to all countries. Check out our Deliveries section to find shipping time estimates.
My item hasn't arrived. What shall I do?
Double check with us that it has been sent and that we have the correct address. If you have used a Signed For service (which we recommend) your tracking code will have been added to your shop or PayPal transaction. You should use that on the Royal Mail Track and Trace section of their website which should give you an idea of where it is in the delivery process.
